TagMachine Functionalities List

1. Tree Management functions

a. Create Tree (create Tree button)

b. Create Tag (Tag options)

c. Rename Tag (Tag options)

d. Delete Tag (Tag options)

e. Share Tree or Tree branch (basic sharing) (Tag options)

f. Edit Permissions (Read or Read/Write) (Tag options)

2. Tree ordering (dragging Tags with mouse)

a. Order Trees (moving up or down)

b. Move Tag to different position in the Tree (dragging the Tag to another branch).

3. Tagging data

Webpage tagging (click on Chrome extension and select Tag current web site). Useful for news and company webpages.
1. Click “Tag current website”.
2. Select Tags from the Trees.
3. Click “Add page”.
Tagg a document.
1. Copy link to document and click on “Create Note/Document” on the extension button.
2. Then select “Webpage option”.
3. Introduce URL, title and select Tags from Trees.
4. Click “Add page”.
Create and Tag a Note (text only).
1. Click on “Create Note/Document” on the extension button.
2. Then select “Note”.
3. Introduce, Title, note and select Tags from Trees.
4. Click “Add page”.

4. Searching the database

a. Select “Search” in the Chrome extension or after Tagging in the app window.

b. Filter selecting Tags from the Tree (filtering is a AND Boolean function).

c. Click “Unselect All” to do a new search.

d. Text Seach (looks only in title).

e. Date Filtering. Narrow results with Data filtering.

f. Click in the Link to open page.

g. Select several results and click “Open” button to open all selected results in different windows.

5. Edit a database record previously created.

a. To modify/update tags on a specific result.

6. Corporate Accounts. Must communicate to TagMachine administrator to update the account to Corporate Account.

TYPE OF USER (Corporate Account)	FUNCTIONALITY
User Administrator Account (the one that registers the rest of the users).	Create Users. Can delete and modify Trees and the records of the rest of the users
User “Admin”	Just as the Administrator user can delete and modify Trees and the records of the rest of the users. The only difference with the Administrator account is that you cannot register users or manage tree permissions.
Usuario “Read/Write” -	Just as the “Admin” user should have the ability to delete and modify the records of the rest of the users. On the Search screen you should be able to remove tags from other users' notes (the functionality is there but it doesn't work). The difference with the “Admin” user is that he cannot modify the structure of the trees
User “Read”	You cannot select notes from other users. You can't modify the tags of other users' notes in Search You cannot modify the structure of the trees You can add records and sort with the tags of the trees that have been shared with you

7. Tagmachine mobile app

Only for Android currently (apple coming soon.)
Initial screen allows you to search your database.
When navigating the web, select “share with” and select TagMachine to record a webpage, URL, or note.
